Candidacy Announcement

I have announced my candidacy for County Council At-Large on the Republican ticket.

My wife, Billie, and I have lived in the rural Bloomingdale area for over 30 years, where we have raised two sons, Marcus and Randal.

A graduate of Waveland High School, I, along with our sons, own and operate Fabstar, Inc.. My experience in business consists of the following: (4) “Start-Ups”; (3) “New Territorial Expansions”; (1) “Turn-Around”; (5) “Ownerships”; and (1) “Failure”.

I was instrumental in the construction of the Nu-Cor Steel Plant as a union millwright foreman and the Eli Lilly North end expansion as a construction coordinator.

As founder of the Kingman Jaycees, I was awarded the, “Outstanding-Local-President” award from the Indiana Jaycees Organization.

I have served as Deacon and Vice-Chairman of the Kingman Christian Church.

A co-founder of the Grace of God Fellowship Church, I currently serve on that congregation’s Advisory Board.

My understanding of the value, commitment, and dedication required of volunteer firemen all over the county is reflected by my past service as Assistant-Chief for the Kingman Volunteer Fire Dept.

As a parent and volunteer, my family and I have given many hours to coaching youth baseball leagues in both Fountain and Parke Counties.

Concerned with the need to help the neediest of our community, I am the founder and current President of New Beginning, Inc, a program to help addicts and alcoholics. As such, I maintain a close working relationship with the Parke County Drug Court Program and the Passion For Helping Families Group
